Aspen Hill Soccer Club (AHSC) has officially agreed to merge and form Silver Spring FC (SSFC) — a unified organization built on a shared vision of Building Players, Inspiring Futures, and Empowering Communities.
Program Information
The 2026/2027 season runs from mid-August to mid-June. Our academy program is a 10-month program with breaks during Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday weeks. Our Classic teams practice twice a week. We participate in Local leagues and tournaments during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.
Classic Registration & Tryouts (2026–2027 Season)
In the coming days, we will release our tryout registration/interest form along with the official tryout schedule for the 2026–2027 season.
• Team invitations will be sent to players who complete the Interest Form.
• Only players whose parents complete the Interest Form will be placed on a team.
• Returning players who wish to secure a roster spot must complete the full team registration by May 11th.
Classic Team Structure (2026–2027 Season)
Girls Classic Program (U9–U18)
•Classic Teams: 1–2 teams per age group, based on the player pool.
• Team: Competes in Local League platforms such as Sam Select, MSI Classic
• Note: Where there is only one team in an age group, team placement will be based on the development stage and needs of the players. Advanced players who fall within an age group with one team competing at a lower level can play up in the next age group at a higher competitive level. Based on our talent pool, we are confident that we can field a top division team in almost every boys’ age category from U9–U19.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We believe that every child, regardless of their family income status, should have the opportunity to play travel soccer. We provide scholarships to families who cannot afford to pay for their kids to play travel soccer. If you are interested, please complete our form, located under the program on Playmetrics.

Silver Spring FC will offer a complete pathway — from Tots and Recreational programs through Classic/Select and Academy levels — ensuring every child has a place to learn, grow, and compete according to their ability and ambition. Silver Spring FC will provide unbeatable quality and structure from our recreational to academy programs.
2. Balanced and Competitive Teams
By combining players from both clubs, we will field stronger and deeper teams across all levels. This will enable us to compete in top leagues such as EDP top divisions, NAL, and eventually ECNL or MLS NEXT.
3. Expanded Coaching Resources & Elite Player Services
Our combined coaching staff will include experienced, licensed professionals following a unified, player-centered curriculum. This allows for enhanced training environments, performance analysis, and individualized player development. Additionally, we will offer elite player services including college showcase exposure, college-prep support, specialized Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for academy players, and international trips and training camps. As part of our holistic player development — second to none in the region — the club will also offer 100% video game coverage for U13 and older academy teams and at least 75% for U9–U12 teams, including comprehensive video analysis, automatic player highlights, and advanced data analytics.
4. Increased Access and Affordability
Through shared resources, facility access, and sponsorship opportunities, we will reinvest in player scholarships, equipment, and facilities, helping make soccer more accessible to families across our community.
