Our developmental league program is designed to provide quality professional soccer coaching and development for beginners and recreational soccer players. Unlike most clubs and city-run recreational leagues, our developmental teams are coached by our highly trained and licensed coaching staff. We follow proven practice curricula from the US Soccer Federation, United Soccer Coaches, and international best practices. Our developmental program is a bridge to our nationally recognized travel soccer program. 

Our developmental teams will participate in the new Maryland Developmental Soccer League, competing against local clubs. All weekend games will occur at Sandy Spring Friends School and surrounding fields in the Olney/Silver Spring area. 

Teams will be formed by birth year. Considerations will be given to players in the same grade born in a different year to play on the same team with a friend. Also, players who are more advanced than most players their age can play a year up (we will make such a recommendation to parents of advanced players who participated in the previous season). 

Our developmental teams will practice twice weekly, on Mondays and Wednesdays or Thursdays. Monday's sessions are run in a skills clinic format. Practice days, locations, and times vary per team. Parents will be notified of their players’  practice schedule and location by mid-August. Players will have the option to participate in a weekly skills clinic on Mondays in addition to their weekly team practice sessions.

Aspen Hill Soccer Club is hosting ongoing tryouts for our 2024/2025 Season. 

We are offering Competitive and Recreation programs. Our competitive programs will be looking for skilled and committed players! Our program will play in the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. The high school age group will start in late Fall.
